YOGA ALLIANCE® 50-HOUR YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE ONLINE
Together with Ilse-Marie Sobering from InnerPower Yoga, I am hosting this wonderful 50h Yin Yoga TTC.
The training is in English and will be held mostly live online via Zoom. And also includes practices in your own time with pre-recorded videos.

Live online sessions will be hosted via Zoom. It’s an easy set up, so no worries if you are not super technical. And we are always happy to help you if needed.
Props
Don't worry if you don't have props at home. We can be creative. You can use a rolled-up or folded towel or small blanket, pillow or cushion, books and a belt (a soft belt from a bathrobe works perfectly).

Content Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course
Learn inspiring wisdom teachings about Qi (energy), meridians and the Chinese 5 elements theory. We will do transformative meditations and you will learn how to use mudras. You will learn about fascia and the yin anatomy.
We will have inspirational lectures on where the Chinese philosophy meets the Indian Yoga philosophy and our modern pathways of awakening.
Our Yin teacher training will help you to dive deeper into stillness, openness, surrendering, relaxation, acceptance and helps you to find balance in this fast-changing world.
You will be guided through the teaching method and sequencing of 20+ key poses in Yin Yoga, and variations on these poses. You will have the opportunity for practical teaching experience and will be encouraged to develop your confidence in sharing Yin Yoga with others.
You will learn postures and how to build an asana practice through a multitude of lectures, posture exploration and through doing various Yin practices.
The curriculum includes the following:

You learn from two teachers complementing each other so well, so you get a very wide range of Yin knowledge.
You will find a lot of online teacher training courses that accept huge groups of students and that give little personal attention. The more famous the teacher, the bigger the groups, and most of those TTC’s are held in webinar-style.
We have chosen to work with smaller groups. Although it is online this will still keep it personal. Especially if you are attending the live online sessions this creates a nice and intimate setting, where students can feel safe. Also, we give students time to practice teaching with their fellow students online via Zoom.
Furthermore, working with small groups gives us the opportunity to give enough personal attention and personal feedback.
All students will have a personal coach (one of the teachers) that will help you on your personal journey.
A LOT OF PERSONAL CONTACT
BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE ONLINE TRAINING
Are you worried that an online training means that it will not be personal? We understand that, so we want to make sure that that will not happen.
BEFORE – PRECARE
You can talk with us over the phone, via email or Whatsapp concerning any questions about the course. And at the start of the course, we will have an online live video session with a welcome speech, introduction round and Q&A.
DURING THE COURSE
A big part of the classes will be via live online video sessions. You can ask direct questions, chat and interact. We have Q&A check-in moments every day.
And during the live online sessions, we give you time to practice teaching with your fellow students via Zoom. It’s a great way to share and bond with the group and of course, practice your teaching skills.
You will also have one of the teachers as a personal mentor. You can always have a personal chat with your mentor via email, the phone or Whatsapp.
AFTERCARE
At the end of the training, we will have an online live meeting for feedback and Q&A. And you can always ask the teachers additional questions after the training.
In general, we have very supportive groups. From experience, we can say that there is a lot of interaction and sharing between the students after the course. Which is very valuable and special.
Yoga Alliance® 50 hour – International Recognized Certification for Continuous Education
This 50-hour online Yoga teacher training course is registered with Yoga Alliance® USA. This is an international body which sets international standards for Yoga Teacher Training Programs. Our course is recognized by Yoga Alliance as 50 Hours of continuing training for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT).
Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive a certificate from Viva La Vida Lifestyle for 50 hours of Yin yoga training. As of 2023, all online (non-contact) hours will be counted as contact hours by Yoga Alliance. When you are a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance®, you can add the 50 hours to your total hours.

About Ilse
Ilse is the founder of InnerPower Yoga and former company Viva La Vida Lifestyle.
Ilse-Marie did several teacher training courses. She is skilled in various yoga styles and over the years has created her own style by mixing various styles of yoga. She is teaching Yin & Restorative yoga, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Hatha yoga. She teaches meditation and pranayama. Furthermore, she is skilled in Qi Gong and energy work. She teaches classes and courses in three languages to beginners, advanced students, seniors and children. She organizes international retreats and courses and also teaches masterclasses and workshops.
Ilse has a great passion for yoga, meditation, mindfulness and healthy nutrition. Yoga and meditation had a big impact on her own life.

I recommend you to read ‘The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga’ by Bernie Clark either before, during or straight after our Yin training. It will give you a lot of in-depth information. Information we also give you during our training, but it’s great to repeat what we learn so that it will stay put in our brains.
